So, tacos are awesome right? Right. But homemade tacos are always better. Here's how you can make super tasty taco seasoning yourself so you can have delicious restaurant-quality tacos anytime!
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1 tablespoon of paprika
1 tablespoon of ground cumin1 tablespoon of salt
1 teaspoon of garlic powder1 teaspoon of onion powder
1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Ready to cook?
Brown a pound of ground turkey, beef or chicken in a skillet.
Drain off the grease after cooking, return to skillet and return meat to heat.
Add seasoning to ground meat with 1/4 cup (4 tbs) of water.
Mix well and remove from heat.
Not ready to cook?Store seasoning in an air-tight container or Ziploc bag.
Or... rub it on your face. It's a great exfoliant*.
* = don't do that.
